VOLUNTEER
There is an abundance of opportunities to volunteer in Africa and North America.
There are special projects for youth groups in North America during the summer.
You must be 18 years or older to volunteer for projects requiring overseas travel. A current US Passport is mandatory.
Opportunities for both men and women include: Music, English and Bible teachers. Bookkeeping, Business, Social Media, Internet, Digital Design and Graphics.
For women only: seamstresses, midwifing, basic nursing, Chefs and bakers.
Men only: small electronics repair, cell phone repair, basic electricity, agriculture and farming.
PARTNER
Partnerships Provide:
- $30 for orphans like Eunice to get a Bible, food, and shelter for a month.
- $125 sponsors 25 East African Pastors to attend a 1 day Healing the Orphaned Heart conference in Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania.or Uganda.
- $300 covers the monthly operating cost of African Empowerment Centers
- $300 pays for 2 months broadcasting the "Empowered Living" radio program to reach over 11 million Nigerians.
- Designate Gift(s) for establishing Empowerment Centers in Nigeria, Uganda, and the United States.

2025 Native American Outreach
Orphaned Heart Int'l is uniting and ministering to Native American tribes across America. Our entire Native American Team is ministering: Healing Orphaned Heart Clinics that set them free and bring HOPE, In 2025, Athena Pitsikoulis is helping to establish a new church in Mission, South Dakota located between the Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations. These are the two poorest reservations in the United States. This assignment is expected to last 12 months. In 2024, OHI reached the following tribes: Kiowa, Commanche, Caddo, Delaware,
Wichita, Chickasaw, Chalktau, Navajo, and Cherokee. On Visit One to each Reservation our team members brings a solid Salvation message and conducts multiple “Healing the Orphaned Heart” workshops over a period of at least 2 weeks. With the understanding and compassion gleaned from their own Native American family history, the Empowered Living ministry workshops will set the captives free from ALL the negative afflictions of an “Orphan Spirit” which is triggered by trauma.
On Visit Two, our OHI Native American Worship and Empowerment Team travels to the Reservation over the weekends from Oklahoma to do follow up. This Empowerment Team is led by Lynn Munoz is a Native Americans from the Kiowa Tribe. She will hold an Empowerment Clinic and a Worship Night led by Shonda Crow, plus establish a HOPE Fellowship and Empowerment Center on each Reservation for our continuing discipleship program. Our goal is to provide ongoing support for everyone who has overcome the effects of an Orphan Spirit through the OHI teachings in the first visit.
Orphaned Heart Int'l is responsible for ALL its own travel expenses, meals, and lodging costs associated with this missionary effort.
Help OHI give an African Bible to every orphan in Uganda and Nigeria for only $10 per Bible.
Uganda has over 17 million children, 15% of whom are orphans (2.5 million orphans). According to the UN, over 50% of Uganda's children under five suffer from malnutrition, and the country has a 60% child mortality rate.
