Give a better life to orphaned children and widows by providing food, clothing, education, shelter and medical supply.
Our Mission for all OHI Life Centers is:
To bring Biblical salvation, hope for a good future, and empowered living to orphaned children and poor widows in Uganda.
SMART Goals for 2025:
1. Purchase property and build an adequate living compound to house 60 children compliant with Ugandan government standards.
2. Provide school tuition for all children in our care
3. Provide a healthy daily diet of nutritious meals to all children in our care
4.Provide a healthy living environment to ensure positive personal growth and well-being through well planned social activities, exercise, and study time.
5. Provide opportunity for sound Biblical teaching and examples of living a Christian life by all adults in supervisory and caretaking roles at our Life Center
6. Provide annual medical check-ups and treatment as necessary for the physical body of every child in our care
7. Provide every child in our care to learn a skill set that will result in employment earning an above average wage
OHI seeks to “Give A Better Life” to the 53 Children at the orphan care facility through instilling a positive mindset as children of God the Father, compassionate nurturing, and self-sustainability. More Life Centers to open in 2025.
Administration:
Richard Musana Orphaned Heart International Empowerment Director in Uganda, has recently been hired as an official Ugandan Government Regional Officer. His “boots on the ground” are less than 35K away from Jinja City for consistent monitoring and accountability.

Operating an Orphan Care Facility of this size costs $1,000 a week minimum. The on-going need is for $52,000 per year. In 2025 our main goal is to purchase land and build two separate dorm facilities connected on either side by a multi-purpose room with modern kitchen Also, construct a football (soccer) field and playground

These children are smiling because they have been sponsored by individuals for uniforms, book bag, school supplies and school tuition for this upcoming trimester. My goal is that each child has a sponsor. The cost per child is $110.

Barb grew up on a ranch, loves animals, and farming. She is aligned with creating a world of permaculture.
